SGA Youth & Family Services’ Annual Virtual Benefit, "Building on Promise” raises funds for the life-changing programs in our Cycle of Opportunity©.
We are thrilled to host esteemed author, journalist, and filmmaker, Alex Kotlowitz, as our keynote speaker. Back by popular demand, he will discuss the problems and solutions surrounding violence in our Chicago neighborhoods. Professor Kotlowitz is the author of four books, including his most recent, An American Summer: Love and Death in Chicago which received the J. Anthony Lukas Book Prize.
