The Summit Community Network (SCN) is a coalition whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for Summit and surrounding areas. Local service providers, public servants and residents are working together to improve educational outcomes, parent engagement, health, and safety. The group formed in July 2020 when SGA Youth & Family Services and our community partners saw the imminent need for community collaboration in the Summit community to coordinate information and resources for families who were in crisis due to COVID-19. The group has evolved into a network of more than 50 partners and accomplishes its goals by bringing together key stakeholders to create a more robust and efficient social service infrastructure and engage institutions, community leaders, and those with lived experience in making Summit a community where all families can thrive.
